The sharemarket produced a mixed bag of results yesterday as ex-dividend stocks and rising commodity prices played a tug of war with share prices. BHP has warned stockbroking analysts they should drastically reduce their full-year earnings forecasts to around $500 million, leaving its shares vulnerable.
